What are your contributions to the team?
Manage projects and activities related to major milestones for complex improvement initiatives within engineering aligned with the product lifecycle management (PLM) strategy, in collaboration with the Business and Information Solutions team
Work closely with engineering technical experts, business leaders, to ensure adherence and compliance of projects scope, schedule, and budget
Participate in the definition of the Process & tools long term vision and the associated strategic milestones
Assume group leadership when necessary, being able to drive critical priorities within the team
Act as technical coach & mentor for various aspects of Project & Change management within the team
Manage priorities between projects and activities, complete strategic schedule analysis, and communicate and harmonize these priorities.
Prepare and participate in meeting with the development team to discuss and align project related activities
Develop and harmonize project schedules and ensure adherence from the technical team
Lead activities to identify, manage and mitigate project risks
Evolve in a flexible and hybrid work environment
How to thrive in this role?
You have a degree in engineering or equivalent with more than 5 years in project management
You have advanced knowledge of Project Management processes and principles
You have experience in CAD and PLM and with product change management principles (asset)
You demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and French
You master the use of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Projects)
You possess excellent analytical, planning, problem solving and interpersonal skills, as well as a excellent business sense
You have excellent organizational, time management skills, foresight, accuracy, attention to detail and commitment to objectives and responsibilities
You have a natural leadership and pro-active attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities
You are technically curious
You demonstrate ability to work willingly and independently in a fast paced, challenging environment
You have effective problem-solving skills with ability to make good decisions to move projects along to meet or exceed the targets
