Job Title: Financial Systems and Analytics Advisor

Main purpose of the Role: The Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for preparing accurate financial statements, regulatory reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires strong technical skills in SQL, ERP systems, and reporting tools, as well as proficiency in Power BI and Prophix for budgeting and forecasting. The analyst will collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to maintain data integrity, streamline reporting processes, and deliver actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure systems are designed and tested to support accuracy and timeliness of internal and external reporting
Design, build, and maintain custom financial reports and dashboards using ERP systems, Power BI, and Prophix.
Utilize SQL to extract, manipulate, and validate data for reporting and analysis.
Support external audits and regulatory reporting requirements.
Collaborate with Finance and IT teams to optimize reporting processes and system efficiency.
Assist in implementing best practices for data governance and reporting standards.
Build, maintain and roll out financial system training programs to end users throughout the finance and accounting organization
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
4–7 years of experience in financial reporting, analysis, and compliance.
Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, CMiC).
Advanced skills in Power BI and Prophix for reporting and planning.
Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and regulatory reporting requirements.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
