What you will be doing:
Oversee the daily operations of the treatment team, ensuring all services meet brand and Forbes standards.
Direct treatment operations to ensure the spa operates cost-effectively and efficiently while maintaining luxury service levels.
Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing skill development for treatment providers.
Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining a strong focus on safety, service, and exceptional experiences.
Monitor labor costs, productivity, and treatment revenue to support spa profitability.
Establish, communicate, and execute departmental goals.
Take a leading role in resolving guest concerns, role-modeling professional service delivery.
Ensure spa facilities and treatment rooms are always in peak condition, including maintenance and cleanliness.
Ensure effective and timely communication across spa departments and with the hotel through regular meetings.
Create and manage efficient scheduling of spa colleagues to maximize revenue and operational coverage.
Review daily productivity and approve/submit payroll, including commissions, incentives, and gratuities.
Implement monthly retail goals and manage retail incentives for treatment providers.
Implement effective training plans for treatment protocols, product knowledge, and retail sales.
Conduct performance development discussions and manage colleague performance in a timely manner.
Oversee inventory management of professional products, including monthly counts, ordering, receiving, par levels, and dispensing controls.
Maintain and manage the purchasing plan for professional supplies and equipment.
Assist in developing and updating the spa menu, treatment protocols, and enhancements.
Maintain strong knowledge of competitors—products, pricing, promotions, and service techniques.
Assist in the development and implementation of the monthly spa revenue management plan.
Ensure adherence to hotel, spa, and facility policies and procedures.
Ensure all providers follow standard operating procedures consistently.
Offer support and supervision to all spa departments as required.
Role-model and ensure adherence to all safety procedures and practices.
Consistently provide engaging, personalized service.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience in a luxury spa or wellness environment.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Aesthetician and/or Massage Therapist and/or Body Technician
Desire to provide phenomenal guest experiences, a passion for quality, and strong attention to detail
Ability to build strong relationships, foster cooperation and lead a team of Spa professionals
Successful track record in professionally addressing & resolving difficult and challenging issues at all levels
Proven leadership skills, which include coaching, time management, training abilities and strong motivational skills.
Ability to develop and encourage an open, stimulating and trusting environment that reflects our Company Mission, Brand Promise and Values
Proven ability to manage a diverse team in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
Career-minded individual with strong personal initiative and a desire to achieve the department’s vision and goals
Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Power Point).
Highly organized, results-oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure in a fast-paced, changing environment
Energetic individual who is able to prioritize to complete many diverse tasks concurrently
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
