The Specialist is part of the Cybersecurity Technology and Controls team and provides senior level technical expertise and experience in the design and implementation of security solutions across Enbridge. Apply today, we'd love to hear from you! #joinourteam What You Will Do: Proactively identify potential sources of cybersecurity risk, prioritizing them based on various factors (level of effort, budgetary requirement, timing, operational requirements and business priorities), and provide recommendations on paths forward. Work with peers in Cybersecurity and TIS Operation teams to perform assessments of infrastructure and/or application cybersecurity capability while maintaining business operational priorities. Continuously develop, enhance, document and communicate cybersecurity best practices & standards. Provide cybersecurity technical leadership and guidance for TIS operational teams, leading to an atmosphere of continuous improvement and innovation. Work with TIS teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical cybersecurity issues. Develop briefings on security initiatives and communicate them to senior leaders and a non-TIS audience. Coordinate and perform other senior technical duties as required Who You Are: Degree/diploma in Information Systems, Information Security, Engineering, or equivalent work experience. Seven (7) or more years of related experience in IT roles, with a focus on Security, Operations, Architecture, Development, Integration & Design. Strong knowledge of various IT and OT systems, including IP transport (routing/switching/firewalls), security appliances (IPS/IDS/proxy), application architectures, monitoring systems, and other technologies. Ability to work on and continuously deliver on numerous competing priorities simultaneously. Excellent analytical, problem solving, technical writing, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with teams, be a thought leader, and drive innovation. Physical Requirements include but are not limited to: Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, reads fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time. Mental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to: Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
