What You'll Do:
The Warehouse Assistant supports daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, labeling, shipping, and inventory accuracy. This role ensures timely and accurate order fulfillment, supports cycle counting and stock rotation, and upholds Pelican’s commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency.
Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and product integrity.
Verify outbound shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and Bills of Lading.
Prepare shipping documents, coordinate carrier pickups, and provide freight quotes when needed.
Receive, put away, and rotate incoming stock while supporting daily and annual inventory counts.
Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organized records, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
High school diploma (or equivalent) with at least 1 year of warehouse, shipping, or inventory experience.
Knowledge of receiving, material handling, and inventory processes.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel) with strong attention to detail and communication skills.
Understanding of warehouse safety practices and ability to maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Forklift certification or ability to become certified.
Bilingual in English/French
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (Eastern Time)

Compensation & Benefits:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The annual U.S. pay range for this position is listed below. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on your qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
