Akcelo is an award-winning, independent brand experience agency founded in 2019, with 200+ staff across Canada, the US, the UK, and Australia. We build brands for the experience era through creativity, culture, and in-house capabilities that drive standout experiences across the full customer journey.
As our North American presence continues to grow, our Vancouver office is looking for a Senior Lead Producer - a strategic, hands-on leader who thrives on complex, multi-channel production and can confidently oversee the delivery of high-profile campaigns across digital, content, social, experiential, and broadcast.
About the Role
As a Senior Lead Producer, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of production projects across Akcelo’s key North American clients. You’ll manage complex programs, oversee junior and mid-level producers, and act as the connective tissue between creative, account, strategy, and external partners.
You are someone who can scale ideas without compromising craft, and who thrives in fast-paced environments where problem-solving, proactivity, and precision matter. You’re equally comfortable in production meetings as you are in executive discussions, and you’re not afraid to get into the details when needed.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Lead the delivery of multi-channel productions (digital, social, experiential, film, OOH, and print), from scope to post-campaign wrap
Act as the senior production lead across multiple client accounts, ensuring projects are on brief, on time, and on budget
Mentor and guide a growing production team, providing daily support, escalation handling, and fostering a culture of best-in-class delivery
Own financial tracking across projects: budgeting, forecasting, supplier negotiation, invoicing, and reconciliation
Drive clarity in scoping and resourcing, ensuring the right people are on the right tasks at the right time
Collaborate closely with creative and strategy teams to ensure feasibility, timelines, and executional excellence
Lead key vendor relationships and build a trusted network of production partners across Canada and the U.S.
Represent production in key internal and client-facing meetings, providing clear status updates and operational leadership
Proactively identify growth opportunities within campaigns and contribute to pitch responses, resourcing models, and operational planning
What We’re Looking For
8+ years of integrated production experience within a creative or brand agency environment
Proven track record of delivering large-scale, multi-platform campaigns, including branded content, social, experiential activations, and influencer-led work
Demonstrated experience leading teams and supporting the development of junior producers
Exceptional organizational skills and comfort managing multiple complex timelines simultaneously
Deep understanding of content production workflows, technical delivery standards, and best practices
Fluent in tools like Monday.com, Slack, G Suite, Microsoft Office, and production budgeting platforms
Comfortable working directly with senior clients and leading conversations around scope, timelines, and deliverables
A problem solver by nature - calm under pressure, flexible, and solution-oriented
Familiarity with Canadian and US production laws, vendors, and permitting including ACTRA and SAG-AFTRA
Brings hands-on experience in line producing across shoots of all scales—managing budgets, logistics, crews, and timelines to ensure seamless execution from pre-production through to delivery.
