Proactively collaborates with internal teams/departments to promote a culture of inclusiveness and cooperation Responsible to live and exemplify Stryker’s Values: Integrity, Accountability, People, and Performance Directly responsible for the promotion and sale of Stryker products Educate and inform doctors, nurses, and appropriate staff personnel as to the proper use and maintenance of Stryker Products Direct product evaluations in operating rooms, hospitals and office settings May assist in the preparation and operation of trade shows, conventions, and/or clinical meetings Keep Regional Sales Manager informed of territory progress on a regular basis Solve product problems for customers in an expeditious fashion Assist in the training and development of sales personnel Manage and maintain a sample inventory of products Must understand and adhere to all operating room and pertinent Occupational Health and Safety Act guidelines when conducting a product evaluation What You Need Required: Post secondary education 1-2 years of sales or clinical experience Preferred: Degree in business with an emphasis in marketing, or a degree in a health related discipline, science, or kinesiology 3+ years of sales experience Additional Information Must be able to travel (ground and air) to support territory responsibilities as well as company-related duties and obligations. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location. Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based. Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category. Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
