THE ROLE
This role is responsible for the continuous improvement of the Tradable Bits platform. You will be testing applications within the platform, collaborating with teams across the organization, performing post-release checks, investigating bug reports, and occasionally assisting the development team with larger-scale testing initiatives.
Please note this is a primarily in-office role based out of our Vancouver office.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Work with the product team to analyse and review business requirements to create test plans for new features, improvements, and bug fixes
Run manual functional, integration, and regression tests
Assess and analyze issues reported by the end-users
Identify and report product deficiencies, follow through until issues are resolved
Test integrations with third-party systems including ticketing, POS, messaging and CRM providers
MUST HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
API, web-based apps, mobile apps testing experience
SQL, CSS, HTML, JavaScript experience
Linux, MacOS knowledge\experience
Experience in creating, running and maintaining automated test scripts is an asset
Knowledge\experience with Digital Ad Services (Meta, Google, TikTok, Snapchat, X, Spotify)
Experience with POS systems, ticketing systems, streaming services, live streaming services
Able to work cooperatively and effectively in a CI/CD team environment.
BSc in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or related required
1-3 years industry experience
