Position Responsibilities: Load and unload trucks or from pallets, trays, storage racks, conveyors, and machines Enter transactions into computer system or catalog Maintain First In, First Out (FIFO) inventory system Ensure all counts and shipping documents accurately represent material and product being shipped and received before signing Sort and place materials in predetermined storage locations in the warehouse or plant Report material shortages to purchasing agent or warehouse supervisor Ensure all overnight and ground shipments are processed daily Accurately count and record material and product during physical inventories and audits Comply with all safety rules, policies and procedures, maintain neat and orderly work areas Other duties as assigned Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required 0 – 1+ years of general work experience Ability to read and understand the English language Must possess good communication skills, both written and verbal Must possess basic math skills Ability to learn to operate powered lift trucks and other material movers Strong organizational skills, detail oriented Must be a team player and maintain appropriate attendance standard Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
