ABOUT THE ROLE
The Manager, Store Fixture & Merchandising Teams’ main purpose is to support the Supervisor and Store Fixture & Merchandising Team in the day-to-day activities within Store Development projects.
The Manager, Store Fixture & Merchandising Team is responsible for the day-to-day management, scheduling, expenses, performance standards, and providing support to the Store Fixture & Merchandising Team.
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage the Supervisor, Store Fixture & Merchandising Team and team members through SMART goals to ensure that trends of underperformance are formally addressed, with clear and documented performance improvement plans. Formally recognize strong performers within the Store Fixture & Merchandising Team.
Day-to-day management of the Store Fixture & Merchandising Team under direction and supervision of the Senior Manager, Store Development, including scheduling, attendance, expenses, and performance standards.
Manage and maintain Dayforce for Store Development including vacation and lieu time.
Review and approve expense reports for Store Development.
Create Purchase Orders for uniforms, tools, travel, corporate takeovers, or Facilities & Maintenance.
Manage and maintain all documents, photos, lists, and timelines for changes in ownership (Corporate Takeovers)
Prepare and send communications, Cost Acknowledgements, and updated spreadsheets to franchisees tracking all Takeover deficiencies
Research and complete all requirements for business licenses and health inspections for changes in ownership
Actively support the Facilities & Maintenance queue
Prepares fixture take-offs from Approved store fixture layout, verifying counts for accurate ordering and budgeting, and assist the Project Coordinator as needed
Manage all travel within Store Development
Complete Merchandising Layouts in coordination with the Merchandising Department and Store Operations
Prepare and send Assignment Briefs and Project Binders for each project
Any other duties as required
Education & Skills
Fluent in English, both written and verbal; bilingual in French is considered an asset
Intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, with a focus on Microsoft Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills
1-3 years working experience using attention to detail, problem-solving, initiative skills
1-3 years working experience using time management and team collaboration skills
