We’re seeking a Chief Operating Officer to guide the next stage of expansion and ensure the company operates with precision, efficiency, and accountability. This leader will oversee all core departments—operations, procurement, logistics, fulfillment, customer service, and shared services—while driving strategic initiatives that improve performance, strengthen internal processes, and support the company’s long-term vision. The COO will work closely with the CEO and leadership team to set direction, optimize systems, and elevate team culture.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations across procurement, warehousing, inventory, logistics, finance support, and customer service.
Build and optimize operational processes, ensuring standardization, reliability, and measurable performance.
Implement KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to track efficiency, margins, service quality, and productivity.
Strengthen supply-chain operations, improving forecasting, purchasing, vendor relations, and cost controls.
Lead warehouse and distribution improvements—workflow optimization, quality standards, safety compliance, and throughput.
Manage organizational structure, staffing plans, hiring decisions, and performance management for all operational teams.
Partner with the CEO on long-term strategic initiatives, including system upgrades, expansion planning, and market growth efforts.
Drive cross-department alignment and communication to ensure smooth execution and cohesive company performance.
Enhance customer experience by refining order workflows, service processes, and issue-resolution protocols.
Oversee budgeting within operational divisions and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
Evaluate technology tools (ERP, inventory systems, automation) and lead implementation where necessary.
Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and enforce best practices across operations.
Qualifications
Proven senior-level operations leadership experience—COO, VP of Operations, Director of Operations, or similar—ideally within distribution, medical supplies, healthcare, or related industries.
Strong track record of improving processes, scaling operations, and leading multi-department teams.
Expertise in supply-chain management, warehousing, procurement, and logistics.
Comfortable implementing systems, structures, KPIs, and operational controls from the ground up.
Data-driven decision-maker with strong analytical, financial, and planning skills.
Skilled in organizational design, team development, and performance management.
Strong communicator who can create alignment, build culture, and influence across all levels.
Familiarity with ERP systems, inventory management tools, and workflow automation.
Ability to operate with urgency in a fast-moving, high-volume environment.
Compensation
$150,000 annual salary
