The Intern will work as part of a team coordinating engineering business activities across all sites allowing the engineering team for De Havilland to run efficiently and effectively. Projects could include centralizing information, streamlining communication, developing processes, co-chairing meetings including Project Reviews, maintaining databases, action registers and
financial data. The student will also prepare governance packages on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis and will be involved in the process evolution and alignment with new tools and business requirements across programs.
Duties & Responsibilities
Project Milestone/Deliverable Adherence, identifying roadblocks and risks
Produce quality governance and reporting
Process revisions, creation, and cancellation
Support activities related to new IT tools within Engineering
Support activities related to roll out of De Havilland Processes and tools across all Programs (Example: PCR Process)
Education and Professional Qualifications
Current business, commerce, or engineering student (bachelor’s or masters)
Experience
Strong academic performance
Previous internship or work experience in project coordination/management
Skills
Excellent Microsoft suite skills
Organized,
Easy to work with across functions, quick learner, problem solver, excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail with focus on quality outputs, strong presentation, and facilitation skills
