Your Responsibilities:
Base Assembly: Assemble and construct bases for HVAC units according to blueprints and fabrication packages
Welding: Complete MIG welding as required for base fabrication and work towards obtaining your CWB welding certification to complete structural welds
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues that arise during base assembly, such as alignment problems, missing parts or measurement discrepancies
Physical Labour: Engage in demanding physical tasks to support production activities
Physical Activity: Stand, walk, crawl, lift and carry heavy items as required to support production
Blueprint Reading: Accurately read and interpret blueprints to guide fabrication and assembly processes
Measurement: Use measuring tools to perform mathematical calculations, including converting fractions to decimals, to ensure precision
Tool Use: Operate air and electric hand tools efficiently to complete tasks effectively
Independent Work: Perform tasks independently with minimal supervision to meet production goals
Team Collaboration: Work effectively in a team environment with strong verbal and written communication skills
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, ensure proper use of PPE and maintain a clean and organized work environment
