Wage: $50,000 to $60,000 per year
Hours: 40 Hours per week
Schedule: Monday through Friday between 8:00am and 5:00pm.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Merchandising & Account Coordinator to join our busy National Accounts team. This is a pivotal support role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at managing multiple priorities simultaneously, and possesses strong technical skills in Microsoft Excel for critical reporting and data analysis.
You will be the glue that keeps our merchandising projects running smoothly, ensuring accurate and timely execution while maintaining vital communication links between our clients, field teams, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Program Oversight: Coordinate and oversee merchandising programs from initiation to completion, ensuring on-time delivery and accurate execution in the field.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a primary daily point of contact, communicating effectively with clients, field teams, and internal stakeholders via email, phone, and virtual meetings.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Review execution reports, follow up on store compliance, and proactively address discrepancies or challenges as they arise.
Data Management & Analysis: Maintain and update reporting templates, trackers, and databases using advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
Administrative Support: Alleviate day-to-day administrative and reporting tasks for the National Accounts Manager, providing timely updates on program progress, challenges, and solutions.
Our Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will bring a blend of retail acumen, coordination expertise, and technical proficiency:
Experience: 1–2 years of experience in a fast-paced retail environment, merchandising coordination, or account support role.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory (experience with pivot tables, lookups, and complex data manipulation is required; VBA/macros knowledge is a definite asset).
Organizational Prowess: Demonstrates exceptional multitasking and organizational skills, with the proven ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines under pressure.
Communication Skills: Exhibits excellent written and verbal communication, alongside strong relationship management skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
Attributes: Displays strong attention to detail, self-motivation, dependability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Asset: Familiarity with Canadian retail geography is considered an asset.
