Based in Huntsville, ON, the Civil Engineering Technician will have a wide range of duties assisting in all aspects of Engineering project delivery, with a focus on Civil and Water Resources Engineering. This position runs from May-August 2026.
What You’ll Do:
As part of the TULLOCH Engineering team, you will:
Assist with preparation of plans, proposals, specifications, supporting documents, reports, and permit applications
Support stormwater management design and other aspects of Water Resources management projects
Work in a team to develop Site Plan preparation documents including site services, grading, drainage, and stormwater management
Assist with civil engineering design for municipal infrastructure
Work in a team on Subdivision development projects
Support construction inspections on various projects

What You Should Bring:
The ideal candidate will be enrolled in a relevant field of study (Civil Engineering, Water Resources). Additionally, you should have:
Knowledge of AutoCAD is considered an asset
Knowledge of OttHymo, MIDUSS, Rational Method, etc., is considered an asset
Experience in the use of Total Station and GPS Survey Equipment is considered an asset
High motivation with results-oriented focus
Superior organizational and multi-tasking skills
Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Valid Class G driver’s licence
