About the Role
We’re hiring an Engineering Manager for Platform to lead Float’s Infrastructure and Developer Experience teams.
This role exists to remove friction for engineers, deliver banking-grade reliability, and build internal platforms that allow product teams to ship safely and quickly.
This is a hands-on leadership role, with an expected 50/50 split between technical work and people leadership.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Unify Infrastructure and Developer Experience into a single cohesive Platform team.
Own reliability, uptime, and platform maturity across Float.
Build and evolve internal developer tooling and workflows.
Lead SRE-style reliability practices and incident response.
Partner with Engineering to understand and eliminate developer friction.
Contribute directly to infrastructure and platform code.
About You

Experience running reliable systems in regulated or high-availability environments.
Comfort contributing code and reviewing complex PRs.
