We are hiring a temporary Guest Experience Coordinator – FIFA Support who will support the Guest Experience Team in achieving and maintaining global leader standards, ensuring a memorable experience for every guest at BC Place during the FIFA World Cup and other events at the stadium in 2026. This role will work closely with the Manager, Guest Experience, on broader departmental initiatives. You’ll be part of a team that brings unforgettable experiences to life—from sold-out matches to global concerts. This is a term limited, full-time position, specifically tied to FIFA-related operations, with an expected end date of July 31, 2026.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Administrative Support and Departmental Responsibilities
Provides coordination and support of Guest Experience departmental activities
Supports the development, implementation, monitoring and advancement of a comprehensive Guest Experience program
In collaboration with the Manager, Guest Experience, administers and addresses all guest concerns or discrepancies promptly; documents, responds and tracks post and pre-event as required
Supports Guest Experience event operations by preparing required documents and materials, inputting statistics, maintaining event reports, and performing additional event-specific administrative tasks as assigned
Implements innovative ideas and initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction and exceed expectations
Assists the broader BC Place Event Services Team as required.
Contributes to the Guest Experience Team in achieving and maintaining global leader standards, ensuring a memorable experience for every guest at BC Place
Assists on maintaining and updated service standards and SOPs
Liaises with Event Operations team to enhance guest experience
Ensures that the right level of service is provided based on the level of experience purchased by guests
Maintains consistency in guest experience to establish reliability and trust
Participates in day-of event guest experience initiatives to ensure positive guest satisfaction
Assists with BC Place community initiatives
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
2 – 4 years’ experience in guest services, event coordinator or a similar role, with a strong emphasis on guest experience
Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
A certificate/diploma or degree in office administration, hospitality, tourism, event management or a related field is preferred
Proven track record of supporting and implementing guest experience initiatives and working with diverse guest needs.
Experience using Momentus, (EBMS -Event Business Management System) or a similar event business management system is an asset.
Familiarity with project management tools is an asset.
IT, digital and media literate including the use of desktop programs and tablets.
Demonstrated ability to use innovation in support of service excellence delivery.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret data to inform decision-making.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at one time.
High degree of detail orientation.
Empathetic and attentive to the needs of guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Commitment to providing excellent customer service and guest experience.
Ability to exercise sound business judgment generating effective solutions quickly and/or raising issues to management as necessary.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Motivated self-starter with a proactive attitude.
Willing and able to work varied hours including evenings, weekends, holidays and overnight shifts.
The salary range for this position is $51,393 - $64,241
Offers will be in line with PavCo’s internal pay equity and qualified candidate’s experience and education.
