Hours per week: 35 Openings: 1 The City of Niagara Falls Landscape Services Section requires a Landscape Architecture Co-op student to assist the City Landscape Architects and Landscape Coordinator with Park, Streetscape and Natural Area projects. Work Term: 4 Month Placement - January to April 2026 (possible extension to August) Rate of Pay: $20.35 to $25.11 Rate of pay is commensurate with education level and experience. Responsibilities: Assist with the production of conceptual and construction drawings. Assist with reports, cost estimates, and construction specifications. Stakeholder notification delivery, record keeping (printing, scanning, filing, etc.) Attend and document construction site visits, site meetings and site inspections. Assist with public engagement and public presentations. Complete information requests for external stakeholders or municipal staff in various departments. Park asset inspection and data collection. Undertake various research projects to inform project design and decision-making. Requirements: Enrolled in full-time post-secondary studies or a recent graduate from a Landscape Architecture program. Ability to draw manually. Introductory experience using AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud. Strong drawing rendering skills (manual or digital) are an asset. Must possess a valid class ‘G’ driver’s licence. Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong communication skills. Ability to follow simple written and oral instructions and work with minimal supervision alone or as part of a team.
