The primary focus of the Distribution Coordinator, Deliveries & Licensing is smooth and accurate inbound deliveries of film materials as well as the management of the rights management system overseeing over 500 catalogue items and 400 contracts and the respective metadata. This position requires a detail-oriented, proactive individual who can balance following direction with taking initiative and thrives in an environment with changing priorities. Strong communication skills are essential, particularly when engaging with senior leaders and external decision-makers. This role is a 6 month mat leave coverage with possibility to extend.
Responsibilities:Inbound Delivery Management
Act as a liaison with producers for the delivery of theatrical and post-theatrical assets, including DCPs, ProRes, and audio files and appropriate legal documentation.
Track received elements and report weekly to team on status of assigned titles addressing any areas of concern or obstacles in receiving materials.
Coordinate with the dubbing and marketing teams for the creation of localized assets
Ensuring inbound delivery materials are delivered to the appropriate labs and internal contacts
Business Affairs
Primary source for inputting Licensing and Acquisition agreements into Rightsline (Rights Management System)
Maintain key release dates and metadata in Rightsline to feed into contract information and various documents that support the workflow of the company on the day to day
Run, interpret and evaluate Licensing availability reports for the Licensing team and review any sales for licensing conflicts in a timely manner
Submit Short Form License Filings to USCO and CIPO in a timely manner
Track copyright filings within the designated schedule listing
Draft and execute updated Lab Access Letters as needed
