Lieu de travail : ALS Géochimie, Québec Travaille sous la supervision du : Superviseur de la pyroanalyse Responsabilité Générale : Les responsabilités principales sont le mélange fondant/échantillon, fusions, et coupellation. Responsabilités Spécifiques: • Toutes les tâches du FA-1 plus; • Mélange le fondant aux échantillons individuellement; • Peut s’occuper des échantillons routiniers sans supervision; • Décharge les fours à fusion et scorifies; • Apprend à effectuer la coupellation; • Entre les données sur la feuille de travail; • Apprend à juger la qualité des fusions ; • Enlève les creusets identifiés; • Application correcte des produits et des méthodes conformément; • Familier avec toutes les règles de sécurité pour le laboratoire et la préparation d’échantillons; • Autres tâches assignées par le directeur, le directeur adjoint ou les superviseurs. Exigences au niveau de la connaissance, des qualifications et des capacités : • Communication excellente en français (écrit et verbal) et anglais serait un atout; • Prépare et présente l'information d'une façon ordonnée et instructive; • Souci du détail; • Promouvoir la sécurité; • Fortement motivé, autonome, et capable travailler en équipe. Qualifications Requises : • Secondaire V ou équivalent et 3 mois d’expérience en Pyroanalyse; • Doit être capable de soulever jusqu’à 50 livres (l’assistance d’un autre employé/équipement de levage est obligatoire si le montant dépasse 50 livres); • Excellentes communication orale et écrite; • Excellentes habilités interpersonnelles avec la capacité d’agir avec tact et diplomatie; • Expérience dans la préparation d’échantillon pour des essais pyrognostiques, des connaissances en géologie et/ou diplôme en chimie seraient des atouts.
