transformation at Thomson Reuters. About the Role As an Associate Business
Design Architect, you will leverage your analytical rigour, structured design
expertise, and stakeholder management skills to drive Thomson Reuters'
transformation. Working across functions (including commercial excellence,
customer-to-cash, finance, enterprise architecture, sales, product, etc.),
you'll define future-state business standards and assess how products and
operations align with them. Your work will shape how Thomson Reuters evolves its
commercial models, operational processes, and technology platforms to support
strategic transformation. Core Focus Areas: Apply analytical and critical
thinking to evaluate complex business challenges, identify root causes, and
develop data-driven recommendations Design and document structured operational
processes and business requirements using industry-standard frameworks and
methodologies. Lead workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement across all
organisational levels to gather insights, build alignment, and drive
decision-making Manage project activities independently, ensuring alignment with
broader programs and portfolios while keeping stakeholders informed and engaged.
Additional Responsibilities: Develop high-level business designs, including
business requirements, process flows, and standardized definitions Conduct
fit-gap assessments to evaluate product and operational alignment with business
standards, identifying gaps and recommending improvement opportunities. Use
critical thinking and industry best practices to manage ambiguity, challenge the
current state, and drive continuous improvements. Translate findings into
actionable inputs for business design governance and strategic roadmaps. Gather
and analyse data to assess the impact and highlight the relevance of proposed
changes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document decisions, track
open items, and ensure alignment across workstreams. Report key updates to the
Business Architecture leadership team Act as a champion for high-quality and
consistent design activities and assessments across TR Establish, validate, and
measure key metrics to track impacts and achieve intended business results
Maintain and improve templates, trackers, and dashboards for design and
assessment activities About You Must-Have Qualifications: Analytical & Critical
Thinking: Exceptional ability to synthesise complex information, identify
patterns, challenge assumptions, and develop insights that drive strategic
decisions Structured Process/Operational Design: Proven experience designing
end-to-end business processes, conducting process mapping, and performing
operational analysis in complex environments Project Management & Stakeholder
Management: Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives,
facilitating workshops with diverse audiences, and influencing senior
stakeholders to achieve alignment and outcomes Additional Qualifications: 6+
years of relevant experience in management consulting, business analysis,
business architecture, or process improvement Proven ability to lead complex
initiatives involving multiple stakeholders Comfortable taking initiative and
driving improvements independently in ambiguous situations Expert-level
proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word to create high-quality analyses,
presentations, and documentation Strong interest in business architecture,
business design, and business transformation Experience with end-to-end
commercial processes and platforms Comfortable working in a fast-paced and
dynamic environment Collaborative and team-focused, with natural relationship
development skills Experience working in a large software or business

The base compensation range varies across locations. For any eligible US
locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is
$99,400 USD - $184,600 USD. For Ontario, Canada, the base compensation range for
this role is $106,000 CAD - $156,000 CAD. Base pay is positioned within the
range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and
experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of
a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive
benefits and other wellbeing programs. This role may also be eligible for an
Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
