Job Type: Permanent THE POSITION Keyera is currently seeking a Maintenance Lead to join our Simonette Facility near Valleyview, Alberta. This role supports the day-to-day operations and maintenance needs of our facility. This is a rotational role working a one week in/one week out shift with camp accommodations. RESPONSIBILTIES Lead day-to-day maintenance activities for the plant and field operations Responsible for the AMR scheduling process in coordination with Maintenance Planner Provide oversight and quality assurance of the AMR workflow process within the maintenance group Develop and manage the weekly maintenance schedule and assign work orders to the appropriate crafts Adjust the maintenance schedule to accommodate emergency work or changing work priorities Work with the Maintenance Planner to ensure maintenance activities are coordinated with Operations team In coordination with Operations Leadership - Prioritize, validate and approve incoming Service Requests Responsible for managing the maintenance Work Order backlog Vet and approve maintenance Job Plans including materials, crafts and durations Support facility procurement needs through the SCM process within the financial authority matrix guidelines Provide frontline visible leadership presence and reinforcement of our Cultural behaviors and values Actively participate in Health and Safety Initiatives within the maintenance group Lead Annual Development Reviews with maintenance staff and ensure the continuous growth in their positions QUALIFICATIONS Journeyman Trade Certification or Technologist Ticket Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in facility and pipeline maintenance Minimum of five (5) years' of proven leadership experience supervising field employees Shutdown/turnaround experience is an asset Previous Maximo maintenance planning/scheduling experience would be considered an asset Demonstrated commitment to safety and an incident and injury-free workplace Ability to work effectively across department boundaries Proven experience in looking for improvement areas Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with ability to lead a diverse team A valid driver’s license and ability to provide 5-year standard driver abstract (clean driver’s abstract) This role is subject pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing and ongoing compliance with the company’s Drug and Alcohol Policy.
