Job Description What is the opportunity? As a trusted advisor to RBC’s Transformation & Enterprise Operations (TEO) Cash Services (CSC) team, the Senior Manager, Financial Performance Management will lead financial strategy and support to drive value, efficiency, and growth. Partner with senior leaders to achieve financial goals, streamline operations, and execute transformational initiatives across Canada’s nine cash centers. What you will do? Responsible for the end-to-end financial oversight of TEO Cash Services (CSC) through financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, monthly monitoring & reporting, opportunity spotting and validation of cost/efficiency management initiatives, new business case analysis (PARs), and the tracking of approved business case spend and initiatives (project tracking). Provide support to TEO Finance team to effectively manage the enterprise quarterly forecast process and related business reviews focusing on alignment with strategy, transparent reporting on major initiatives and increased use of business drivers and key performance metrics. Responsible for regular interaction with Cash Services management teams including presenting financial performance and business advisory to senior management to improve accountability and ownership of budget Proactively identifies governance, cost management, financial process issues and engages cross-functional expertise as required to resolve them Lead the streamlining and automation of all monthly analysis, changeout postings and reporting. Proactively look for the ways for automation, standardization and removing any redundancies in financial processes within TEO Finance team On a needed basis, you will be required to develop, maintain and run financial models for business and finance related initiatives Collaborate with business teams to foster an environment of financial discipline, transparency and accountability What do you need to succeed?
