Job Overview: The Sr. Analyst, Franchise Profitability's main role is to facilitate timely and accurate reporting and analysis on franchisee restaurant profitability. The role works closely with all functional departments across Burger King US and Canada, inclusive of Field Support, Operations, Development, and Marketing Teams to provide visibility into current trends in profitability and identify outliers for further review and discussion with our franchisees to determine action plans to drive profitability. Roles and Responsibilities: Monitor monthly, quarterly and annual reporting by Franchisees and ensure timely and accurate financial statement submissions Collaborate with Franchisees to address questions or feedback on data outliers Prepare business reviews benchmarking P&L margins and identifying opportunities for improvement for BKC Leadership Team, Field Team and Franchisees Create and present monthly reporting materials to field teams on current profitability trends by franchisee, region, division, and restaurant types for US and Canada Update financial forecast models based on monthly profitability inputs Create & maintain Tableau dashboards that provide Field Support teams visibility into profitability metrics, inclusive of P&L reporting, gross profit reporting, and initiative performance Conduct bi-annual financial health surveys to assess the capitalization of the Burger King system Required Skills: University degree in Business, Economics, Finance or a related field 2-3 years of experience Experience building scalable, streamlined financial models in Microsoft Excel is required Entrepreneurial mindset with desire to learn and be challenged Strong analytical, organizational and work management skills Familiarity with OneStream, Tableau and SQL is an asset Highly proficient with MS Office applications Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of the organization through various forms (oral presentation, PowerPoint, etc.) Ability to function effectively in a team environment and independently Self-motivated and a self-starter Ability to meet tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while maintaining accuracy Benefits at all of our global offices are focused on physical, mental and financial wellness.
