The Role
Lush is seeking a creative Videographer/Editor for our in-house Film and Photo
team, positioned within our Brand department. Reporting to the Film and Photo
Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality and original video
content across all Lush platforms, including ecommerce videos, social content,
event activations and brand documentaries. You will do this in partnership with
the Film and Photo Manager and our in house Photographer and Producer.
Our ideal candidate will be self motivated, multi talented and collaborative in
their approach to creating video content. You have experience running and
leading a set and are comfortable with all aspects of the video process. In pre
production you are creative, organized and realistic. On set, you have a
creative vision, strong cinematography skills, are detail orientated and
efficient whilst creating an inclusive and comfortable set for talent and
co-workers. In post you craft concise edits, align to industry standards, work
within brand creative and apply feedback as needed. You are comfortable
in-studio and on location, adapting to the situation and time constraints to
create the best work possible.
As a Lush enthusiast and talented visual storyteller, you’ll ensure that all
content we are publishing is created and edited to the highest standards

Reporting to the Film & Photo Manager, the Videographer/Editor’s core
RESPONSIBILITIES will include:
- Collaborate on ideas with the wider brand team, interpret briefs, create
storyboards and lighting diagrams/pre vis
- Work with the Producer and Art Director to ensure everything for the shoot
aligns to the creative
- Film material for production; make technical and creative decisions regarding
locations, appropriate lighting, shooting angles, placement and type of
microphones, other audio needs, and other production
issues
- Execute all stages of post-production, including editing, audio mixing,
colour correction, motion graphics, and delivery
- Assemble and edit material for various output channels
- Build and maintain relationships with outside freelancers and vendors
- Manage digital assets for delivery including uploading, archiving and tagging
- Maintain and collaborate on creative and technical standards for film that
remain consistent with the overall brand
- Collaborate with global teams as needed, in particular for YouTube content or
Global Events
- This role entails travel, sometimes at short notice, generally once or twice
per quarter but sometimes more
You bring the following QUALIFICATIONS:
Skills & Abilities:
- Advanced editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Intermediate After Effects skills
- High attention to detail
- Strong and diverse shooting experience (from studio to outdoor/indoor
locations)
- Confident directing talent of varying experience levels
- A positive and proactive attitude with the ability to be adaptable
- Ability to effectively manage multiple and competing work priorities
- Ability to accurately implement feedback
- Advanced knowledge of camera systems, especially Sony
- Advanced knowledge of constant lighting techniques
- Familiarity with project management software and DAM systems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to embrace changing assignments, direction, and deadlines that come your
way - a willingness to learn and adapt
- Ability to work individually and collaborate with wider teams on larger
projects
- Confident working with and managing freelance crews where necessary
Required:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a commercial or professional video
production capacity
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Wide range of filming experience across commercial, social, event and
documentary
- Ability to travel to and from photoshoot locations as needed
Preferred:
- Previous experience creating YouTube-focused content
- Livestreaming technical knowledge
- Drone operating experience

depending on the successful candidate's location. This range is based on base
salary and does not include additional bonus program and total rewards
eligibility.
Base Salary Range
$70,300—$78,000 CAD
