Job Description
CIMA+ is seeking an experienced IT Solutions Architect with more than 7 years of relevant experience. The selected candidate will become a technical reference within the organization and will play a key role in the evolution of the internal digital ecosystem.
Driven by curiosity, rigor, and initiative, the successful candidate will actively contribute to the firm’s technological development in an environment where entrepreneurship, collaboration, and innovation are at the core of the company culture.
Primary Responsibilities
Understand business and technological needs of CIMA+ in order to maintain, optimize, and evolve the internal digital ecosystem
Analyze and master the existing solution architecture to ensure its consistency and long-term sustainability
Design and evolve solution and system architectures in alignment with existing technology platforms and the corporate IT strategy
Evaluate, analyze, and recommend emerging technologies in support of the company’s innovation objectives
Produce functional specifications, concepts of operations, IT requirements, development standards—including low-code / no-code approaches—as well as integration standards
Simplify and structure complex technical content to facilitate understanding and effective communication with stakeholders
Rigorously document deliverables and solutions developed or integrated into the digital ecosystem
Act as a subject-matter expert and advisor to IT teams and internal partners in the development of solutions and deliverables
Actively participate in the implementation of solutions, ensuring quality, compliance, and seamless integration of systems within the CIMA+ environment
Support and guide IT project teams during system integration and deployment, including technical validation, inter-system automations, and the use of integration platforms
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Engineering, Software Engineering, Automated Production Engineering, Computer Science, or any other equivalent relevant education
More than 7 years of experience in solution architecture, system architecture, or operating systems engineering
Experience in consulting services (an asset)
Enterprise architecture certification (TOGAF, ArchiMate) — an asset
Membership in the OIQ as a Professional Engineer — an asset
Bilingual (French/English), required to collaborate with teams across Canada
Knowledge and Areas of Interest
ERP platforms: Microsoft Dynamics 365 or previous versions
Artificial intelligence environments: ChatGPT, Copilot, Google AI, etc.
Containerization: Docker
Microsoft Power Platform
Low-code / no-code approaches
DevOps methodologies: CI/CD, GitHub
Azure cloud environments
Integration and data distribution platforms: Azure Integration Services (Service Bus, API Management, Event Grid, Logic Apps) or equivalent competitors
API management services
Communication protocols and mechanisms
IoT, Big Data
Programming languages: Python, C#
