Working in Rocanville’s underground mining environment means joining one of the most modern and safety-focused potash operations in the world. The underground sites are clean, well-lit, temperature-controlled, and highly structured, with a strong culture of teamwork and safety. Technicians work closely together, gain experience with large-scale mining equipment, and develop highly specialized mechanical skills.
What You’ll Do
As a Field Service Technician, you’ll be an essential part of keeping mining and industrial operations safe. In this role, you will:
Inspect, repair, and maintain vehicle fire suppression systems and other fire & life safety equipment
Troubleshoot issues and provide customers with clear recommendations to minimize downtime
Complete inspection reports, safety documentation, and related paperwork accurately
Work closely with service coordinators to schedule jobs and maintain proper inventory
Deliver site-specific training to customers and help them operate and maintain their safety equipment
Keep your service vehicle organized, stocked, and in top condition
Represent Levitt-Safety onsite with professionalism, care, and technical expertise
What you'll bring:
Experience in a mechanical shop or similar hands-on environment
Strong mechanical aptitude; basic electrical skills an asset
Fire protection or suppression system experience (or education) is a strong advantage
Valid driver’s license and clean abstract
Clear, confident communication and customer service skills
Comfort using technology, mobile devices, and digital tools

Physical & Safety Requirements
This is a safety-sensitive role. You must be comfortable with:
Working underground and around heavy equipment
Lifting up to 50 lbs and maneuvering in tight or confined spaces
Using ladders, walkways, and accessing elevated equipment
Passing drug & alcohol testing and background checks
Wearing a supplied air respirator
