Job Description Join the Global Credit and Lending Technology team as we continuously deliver new products to modernize operational business processes by delivering enterprise grade solutions. We are seeking a talented and adaptable lead developer to maintain an existing portfolio of applications and deliver new business capabilities to our credit business in Capital Markets. Day to day, your work runs the full SDLC scope, from requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deploying to production and providing knowledge transfer to support teams. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, juggling competing priorities, and will be communicating directly with business stakeholders to understand the use cases and ensuring your solution is fit for purpose. WHAT WILL YOU DO? Manage a team of developers, overseeing workload distribution, career development and team performance to meet business SLAs Create robust, reusable software that can be depended on by other teams and customers Assess, research and analyze business and system needs, exploring alternative options to recommend technology solutions and designs that meet sponsor needs while considering component re-usability, data sharing, end user experience, performance and security Identify continuous improvement opportunities and drive project progress and benefits Create prototypes that can be rapidly shared with clients or consumers Design & implement common patterns, services, components and frameworks Leverage best-practices in continuous build, integration and delivery to improve quality and velocity Manage and drive application change and modernization WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED? Must have: Strong programming experience in multi-tier applications based on Microsoft .NET technology stack including C#, ASP.NET Core MVC/Web API, Entity Framework Core, SignalR, Webforms, Web Services, REST API’s, Asynchronous Programming Experience with relational database programming (e.g. SQL Server, Sybase), NoSQL databases and data stores Experience with .NET based server-side technologies and creating/consuming from a REST backend to create responsive client-server web applications Strong experience working within and managing professional software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source code management, build processes and testing in an agile environment Self-motivated – driven to get results, takes initiative and needs minimum oversight Nice-to-have: Experience containerizing and deploying applications with Docker/Kubernetes Experience building DevOps pipelines (GitHub, Jenkins, Nexus, etc) and observing good DevSecOps practices Experience with middleware, queues and streaming technologies like MQ, Kafka, etc Experience with AI tools for development (e.g. Co-pilot) Capital Markets experience is a strong plus What’s in it for you?
