THE ROLE
As a Cost Consultant, you will be joining a growing team and working closely with all levels of the business to deliver project monitoring services to our clients.
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team of project monitoring specialists. The candidate will have completed their post secondary education studies and is able to demonstrate understanding of key development and construction concepts. Construction industry experience is favourable for this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Review and analysis of progress draw submissions including schedule of values, invoices, change orders, holdback, and construction schedule.
Site visit reviews of work completed against value claimed.
Analysis of invoices to determine allocation for holdback, taxes, credits, etc.
Preparation of monthly draw reports for funding recommendation to developers, contractors, and lenders.
Phone and face to face meetings with relevant parties to resolve billing issues, and to discuss feasibility of budgets prepared alongside senior staff.
Take-off and estimation utilizing Bluebeam software on PDF drawings.
Analysis of estimates and comparison of unit rates for materials, labour, etc.

REQUIRED
Graduate from a post-secondary institution
Excellent command of English, both oral and written
Ability to utilize Microsoft Excel to formulate calculations
Desire to attain PQS qualification
Valid driver’s licence (G), and access to car for site visits
PREFERRED
Experience with Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, Planswift, or similar.
