Working closely with the Clinical Manager, the Clinical Coordinator assists in issues relating to staffing resources and ensuring that front line staff has the facilities, equipment and resources necessary for the day-to-day function and activities of the OH West Diagnostic Imaging Central Intake office.
Applies specialized knowledge to assist in coordinating a team that is responsible for a regional intake hub, coordinating services with 27 hospital systems across the Ontario Health West region. Assisting in the development, implementation, and evaluation of common core protocols. Assisting in problem-solving; providing ongoing performance feedback; promoting and fostering an environment that encourages clinical excellence, continuous learning, evaluation, and client-centered care.
- University Baccalaureate Degree in the Health Sciences
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Diagnostic Services
- Demonstrated excellence in leadership, communication, organization, team building, conflict resolution
- Demonstrated ability to work within an inter-professional team, to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and to build effective relationships both internal and external to an organization
- Demonstrated advanced critical thinking skills in the provision of patient focused care
- Demonstrated ability to lead project processes – proven skills in project management
- Proven abilities in leading quality improvement and change management methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to in data/business intelligence collection, reporting and analysis
