Key Job Responsibilities Include:
Lead and develop the Bulk Fuel Team to ensure a safe, productive, engaged workforce by; recruiting, training, developing, and mentoring drivers, cardlock attendants, and support staff.
Promote and foster a safe work environment through training, audits, and communication.
Build customer relationships and drive business growth by positioning Heritage Co-op as a trusted energy supplier.
Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve volume, margin, and revenue targets.
Monitor fuel levels, forecast demand, and coordinate timely replenishment to avoid shortages.
Adhere to environmental regulations, transportation laws, and industry standards for handling hazardous material.
Set and maintain excellence in Brand Standard.
Ensure preventative equipment maintenance
Assist with the preparation of annual budgets, expense monitoring, and reporting on financial performance against targets.
Who you are:
Post-secondary education in Business, Agriculture, or a related field preferred.
6 years of experience in energy operations and sales, including 4+ years of leadership experience
Strong understanding of bulk petroleum storage, handling, and distribution systems
Experience with inventory control systems and tracking logistics
Excellent leadership and talent development skills
Strong business acumen
Effective communication and customer service aptitude
Strong decision making and problem solving skills
