The Secretary will be responsible for providing support to a number of Rehabilitation Physicians. The Secretary will manage outpatient appointments as well as a variety of secretarial duties supporting the Rehabilitation Program.
- Graduate of community college secretarial or Office Administration Diploma (preferable Medical) or 3 years equivalent experience
- Medical terminology
- Proven proficiency in Windows 95, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, Meditech, Dictation
- Minimum 60 wpm typing speed
- Working knowledge of all office systems
- Exceptional organization and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in response to continually changing work demands
- Ability to meet task deadlines and work well under pressure and with constant interruptions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills within a professional environment
- Professionalism in dealing with difficult and verbally aggressive clients
- Ability to appreciate the confidential nature of the position
