At Volker Stevin, safety is foundational to how we build and to the legacy we leave in the communities we serve. Our Regional Safety Manager plays a critical role in the success of our projects, working closely with crews and leaders in the field to ensure safety is lived every day. If you’re a hands-on safety leader who thrives in a people-first, field-driven environment, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while continuing to grow your career with a leading organization.
As Volker Stevin continues to strengthen its construction operations across Alberta, we are seeking a Regional Safety Manager to help reinforce a consistent, field-driven safety culture. The role plays a key part in aligning three legacy subsidiaries: McNally Contractors (Lethbridge), Mainline Construction (Grande Prairie), and H. Wilson Industries (Fort McMurray). As a visible, hands-on leader, the successful candidate will lead by example, build trust with crews, and be passionate about developing practical programs, consistent standards, and strong safety behaviours across diverse project environments.
Reporting directly to the Vice President, Construction and leading a team of safety professionals, this role will be instrumental in embedding a shared One Volker safety mindset across a large and varied operational footprint. Regular travel throughout Alberta is required, with a strong presence alongside crews and project teams to support safe execution, coach leaders, and continuously strengthen how safety shows up on site, not just in policies, but in everyday decisions and actions.
