What You’ll Be Doing
Deliver professional, thoughtful, and sincere service to every guest, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated
Assist guests with food and beverage menu selections in an engaging and informative manner
Provide detailed descriptions of beverages, including wines by varietal and region, and keep up with seasonal promotions
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents, and preparation methods to offer personalized recommendations
Identify dietary restrictions and allergies, ensuring clear communication with guests and colleagues
Follow all outlet policies, procedures, and service standards to ensure consistent excellence
Ensure prompt delivery of high-quality food and beverages with attention to detail
Maintain proper setup of mise en place and side stations for smooth operations
Assist with function room setups and tear-downs, including tables, chairs, cutlery, and linens
Provide service in private dining or event settings
Support colleagues with food delivery, bussing, table resetting, and specialty coffee preparation
Collaborate effectively with kitchen and service staff to maintain efficient workflow
Undertake additional duties as assigned to support team success
Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
1–2 years of serving experience in an upscale dining environment
Serving It Right certification
Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to remain calm, courteous, and focused in a fast-paced environment
Proven ability to address and resolve guest inquiries promptly and professionally
Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
High level of responsibility, reliability, and punctuality
Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and rotating shifts
Collaborative mindset and ability to work cohesively with a team
Experience with point-of-sale systems is a plus
Impeccable grooming and professional presentation
Warm and sincere approach to guest interactions
Fluency in written and spoken English
Physical Aspects of Position
Constant standing and walking throughout the shift
Frequent lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs
Regular kneeling, pushing, and pulling
Frequent ascending and descending ladders, stairs, and ramps
Ability to carry three or more entrée plates at one time
