Posting Description:

Prepare performance monitoring reports for institutional clients which includes:
Gathering qualitative and quantitative data from external managers, custodians and other data providers;
Calculate performance statistics;
Create and modify charts and tables;
Draft investment manager performance commentary;
Draft emails and letters in collaboration with consultants and peers;
Work with a variety of investment excel-based tools;
Peer review work performed by other analysts;
Prepare presentations on investment topics (e.g. investment manager selection, investment manager structure);
Conduct searches for investment managers or CAP providers;
Review and amend governance documents (e.g. statement of investment policies and procedures);
Support experienced analysts and consultants in all aspects of work servicing clients and prospects;
Keep up to date about current financial events and news;
Participate in internal seminars regarding current industry issues and technical training.
Relevant co-op/intern experience (1-2 terms);
General knowledge of the institutional investment industry, understanding of investment concepts and the financial markets;
Highly motivated, self-starter and team-oriented individual;
Highly organized individual, with strong attention to detail and accuracy;
Outstanding oral and written communication skills in English, (French is an asset);
Ability to establish and form relationships;
Ability to multi-task, work under timelines and adapt to changing business needs;
Thorough knowledge of MS Office Suite: Microsoft Excel (e.g. array and look-up formulas), PowerPoint and Word;
Positive demeanour and a desire to participate to the success of Aon.
