The Sr. Manager, Process Automation is a leadership role within RBI's Corporate IT, responsible for defining, implementing, and overseeing process automation initiatives that drive operational efficiencies and digital transformation within the organization. This role will play a critical role in modernizing business processes using Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Low-Code/No-Code Application Platforms (LCAP), and integration platforms to streamline operations across departments.
This position requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and technical expertise to drive process automation programs, integrate systems, and ensure compliance with governance standards. Additionally, the Sr. Manager will be responsible for developing citizen development campaigns to encourage adoption of low-code/no-code solutions and foster a culture of automation innovation. The ideal candidate will have a track record of building and managing teams, working with offshore and vendor partners, and driving measurable business impact through automation.
Role & Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Automation Roadmap
- Develop and execute a company-wide automation strategy aligned with digital transformation goals.
- Define and implement best practices for automation governance, compliance, and scalability.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to identify automation opportunities and drive operational efficiencies.
- Organize and promote citizen development initiatives to enable business users to leverage low-code/no-code automation solutions.
Technical Execution & Integration
- Oversee the design, implementation, and governance of automation solutions across RPA, LCAP, and integration platforms.
- Streamline process automation deployments using appropriate automation tools.
- Integrate ERP and non-ERP systems (SAP ECC/S4 HANA experience is a plus) via standard connectors or custom solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and technical assessments to ensure quality, maintainability, and compliance with security standards.
Team & Vendor Management
- Build, mentor, and lead a team of automation engineers and developers (including offshore/vendor teams).
- Collaborate with external technology partners and automation vendors to maximize platform capabilities.
- Oversee project execution using Agile methodologies, ensuring timely delivery and measurable impact.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with experience managing internal and offshore teams.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related fields.
- 6+ years of experience in process automation, business process management, or digital transformation.
- Expertise in Business Process Management (BPM), workflow optimization, and digital automation strategies.
- Hands-on experience with RPA tools (MS Power Automate, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism).
- Proven track record managing LCAP platforms (Microsoft Power Platform, Appian, ServiceNow).
- Strong knowledge of SAP ECC / S4 Hana, AI, machine learning, and process mining technologies.
- Experience integrating ERP and non-ERP systems via APIs, connectors, or middleware solutions.
- Ability to assess, architect, and optimize automation environments for efficiency and scalability.
- Strong experience in Agile project management and product management methodologies.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- PMP/SCRUM, and/or Product Management certification.
- RPA Developer/Architect certification.
- LCAP-related certifications.
- Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt).
