About The Position
Walters is looking for individuals with a strong work ethic and positive attitude who are seeking a position that will provide career growth.
Reporting to the Team Leader, the Labourer will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Read and interpret work orders.
- Loads and unloads trailers, as required, to Walters Standards.
- Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal and other materials.
- May cut, grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools.
- Completes project specific tasks as assigned and required.
- Performs housekeeping tasks as assigned.
- Assists in the movement of material in the plant/property by use of crane, forklift, etc.
