- Masters or PhD in Economics
Required Skills: The successful candidate will have:
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to respond to student enquiries and to grade assignments and exams in a timely manner
- High level of comfort with interacting with students and colleagues using online modalities such as Google Meets and Kaltura
- Ability to manage a course effectively using a Learning Management System
- An ability to develop innovative and inclusive teaching strategies
- An ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural and diverse community
Required Experience
- Preference will be given to candidates who have taught economics in an undergraduate university commerce program
- Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated teaching excellence in an undergraduate commerce or business management/administration program in a post-secondary environment. Candidates can demonstrate their competence by submitting course evaluations and/or formal peer evaluations
