Attract, hire and retain a team a team of Software Engineers in Test responsible for defining, implementing, and enforcing quality standards across Moneris.

Create and maintain quality standards, methodologies, and processes that use modern testing frameworks and align to industry best practices

Design and implement audit processes to verify compliance with these standards

Manage and ensure remediation steps are taken when quality standards are not met, up to and including stopping a team from releasing software

Promote quality and develop training programs/material/workshops to help developers adopt testing bets practices

Create and maintain documentation for testing best practices, providing a clear and updated knowledge base for teams.

Work collaboratively to update and roll out new standards to development

Establish and track metrics to measure both the effectiveness of quality improvements and the use of standards across the organization.

Use data to identify trends, highlight successes, and focus on areas needing further refinement.

5 years as a developer building secure, scalable web applications
-
5 years writing test automation at all levels (unit, API, UI) applying modern testing tools
-
3 years GitHub, experience with GitHub actions is a plus

5 years of people management experience
