Coursework or training in project management; work space planning, financial management; or other leadership training

Knowledge and experience in project management of LEED-certified buildings

Technical Expertise: Possesses a comprehensive understanding of planning and design processes across various disciplines (architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, landscaping) and has a working knowledge of relevant codes, legislation, and regulations

Project Management Proficiency: Demonstrates strong program/project management skills, including knowledge of PMBOK best practices, contract management (selection, claims, evaluation), planning, organization, and problem-solving

Leadership and Team Management: Has experience leading Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams in project delivery, as well as managing and working with external consultants

Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Exhibits strong verbal and written communication skills (including report writing and presenting), experience developing and implementing communication/public engagement plans, and strong conflict resolution and negotiation abilities

Relationship Building and Collaboration: Demonstrates the ability and willingness to develop strategic relationships and deliver work in a collaborative and integrated manner

Salary Range: $102,590 - $128,237 (Annually)

This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement with the flexibility to work from both home and the worksite

This position is eligible for the EDO program (Earned Day Off)

Hire is dependent on a Criminal Records Check (CRC) security clearance that is satisfactory to the City of Edmonton and is a requirement of this position, there may be a cost associated with this requirement

Valid Alberta Class 5 driver's licence (or provincial equivalent) is an asset. Must obtain business auto insurance for personal use on City business
