Job Description
Role \& Responsibilities
- Verifies that the batches of material dedicated to the operation are adequate.
- Regularly checks with the Buffer Manager that the priority order of tasks is adequate and corresponds to the requirements of the production flow according to the principles of TOC.
- The operator communicates with his team leader any anomalies or variations in the product in order to eliminate from production faulty parts that could be rejected further down the production line.
- The operator adjusts the machine according to the type of material used.
- The operator places the parts at the entrance of the machine and picks them up at the exit.
- Repeat the operation if necessary.
- Redispose the parts in batches, ready for the next production step.
Knowledge And Skill Requirements
- High school diploma, equivalency, or work experience
- Bilingualism (Asset)
- Available to do shift rotation
- Manual dexterity
- Trouble shooting skills
- Ability to work in a group
- Adapt easily to various situations
- Positive attitude
- Knowledge of the VKS System (Asset)
