Position Summary Duties
- Lead the design and implementation of the ethnographic research study
- Lead all aspects of project lifecycle, including scoping and planning, resource allocation, stakeholder engagement and management, monitoring and control, development of metrics and analysis, budgeting, procurement and legal processes, and post project evaluation
- Create and facilitate review and approvals for detailed project artifacts including, but not limited to, project charters, plans, schedules, budget, evaluation framework, and operational transition plan
- Apply rigorous project management, change management, and effective communication across the project lifecycle to manage schedule and milestones to risk
- Deliver progress reports, requirements documentation, and presentations to project stakeholders, sponsors and executive-level leaders
- Work independently and within a team setting
- Coach and guide members of the project team
Qualifications
- Master's degree/ PhD in Science, Health, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
- 3-4 years of research experience in the field of health/ education/social and behavioural sciences
- Proven track record of successfully leading projects involving multiple stakeholders
- Strong experience with budgeting, financial oversight, and procurement processes, including contract negotiations.
- Strong analytical, prioritization and organization skills, with attention to detail
- Dynamic knowledge of community engagement principles
- Demonstrated commitment to and understanding of equity, anti-racism, and anti-oppression principles and practices
- Well-developed decision-making, problem-solving, and judgement skills, as well as excellent time management and organizational skills required
- Supervisory or managerial experience would be an asset
