THE ROLE
Lead corporate accounting and finance functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Act as point of contact for corporate accounting inquiries, technical accounting issues, budgeting and forecasting issues.

THE TASKS
Corporate Accounting
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including payroll, expense management, and cash flow.
- Oversee banking and lending relationships.
- Review and approve month-end journal entries and reconciliations.
- Prepare high-risk month-end entries for investments, related party transactions, and consolidation.
- Coordinate annual audits and tax reporting requirements.
Fund Accounting Oversight
- Oversee outsourced fund accounting services.
- Monitor distributions and capital calls in coordination with fund administrators.
Management Reporting
- Prepare and review annual budget and on-going monitoring of company results including the budget to actual variance analysis on monthly and quarterly basis.
- Develop fee projections for clients with bespoke fee structures.

- Master day-to-day corporate accounting operations including month-end close processes, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of fund accounting oversight with 3rd party fund accounting team, including distribution and capital call monitoring

Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience
- Exposure to pension funds, private equity and fund accounting preferred
- Completed CPA designation
