Attend work at the specified start time (varies from route to route)

Count all loose products, using a manifest check counts and load truck in a neat orderly fashion

Ensure inner body liners are secured using chocks and hold downs

Circle check the vehicle

Fuel vehicle at onsite pump

Following specific routes, matching invoices to product, deliver to all customers on the route and ensuring all invoices are signed

Keep truck secure while attending to customers
-
Pick up returns at all accounts, ensuring they are prepared properly and have identifying stickers attached. Ontario News Service envelopes picked up where required

Upon completion of route return to Depot

Upon arrival at depot, unload truck, ensuring safety chains are up and assistance is used to pull off inner body liners
-
Move the inner body liners into return department ensuring they are tally tagged
-
Take all invoices, cash and Ontario News Service envelopes to the cash office to cash in
-
Upon verification from the cash office that route paperwork, cash and signatures are complete, move truck into position for the following days route

Clean interior of truck
-
Other duties as assigned

Safety boots required without exception

Lifting requirements: 100+ lbs

Use materials handling equipment (carts, pushers)

Driving and walking, entering and exiting trucks from side and rear doors required

Valid G-Class driving license

The ability to accurately pick product as required

The ability to work unsupervised "on-the-road" effectively

Street knowledge of the area(s) expected to deliver to

Basic cash/cheque handling and mathematical skills

Professional interpersonal conduct with all "internal" and "external" customers

Working knowledge of Ontario vehicle rules and regulations, employee responsibilities regarding vehicles (inspections, checks, and maintenance), incident procedures and Accelerate360 policies
