Job Summary
- Acute coronary syndrome
- Cardiomyopathy
- Heart failure
- Patients with Dysrhythmias
- Congenital heart defects
Qualifications
- Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (B.C.L.S.) certification
- Minimum one (1) year Cardiac experience preferred
- Experience with cardiac monitoring including pacemaker management and arrhythmia identification and interpretation preferred
- Demonstrated evidence of ongoing education in cardiac nursing and involvement in professional associations preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be flexible and possess the ability to work effectively and efficiently within a variety of patient care teams
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
