Responsibilities
- Collaborate on developing and implementing policies for the use of cloud services including documentation and training related to policies and procedures
- Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance
- Establishment of a secure cloud environment
- Configuring cloud infrastructure components like networking and security services
- Ownership for technical duties for the enterprise associated with cloud-computing
- Ensuring appropriate availability of services including tracking and reporting of key metrics
- Technical ownership of enterprise cloud-based applications (Azure, Atlassian, Google Workspace, Microsoft O365, Okta, Aquera, etc.)
- Technical ownership of limited on-premises systems (Active Directory, vmWare, SANs, Firewalls, LAN, WAN, WiFi)
- Collaborate closely with internal security to ensure compliance and security objectives are completed
- Troubleshooting cloud-based and IT related issues
- Conduct root cause analyses, identify appropriate solutions, and implement them
- Mentor and coach team members as subject matter expert
- Collaborate with business partners, third-party vendors, and other IT personnel on company-wide IT initiatives
- Provide Tier 2 helpdesk support for the help desk team when required -- proactively monitor and address helpdesk tickets via the ticketing solution
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of security technologies and architecture, including encryption, cloud network security design, security group configuration, intrusion detection, data loss prevention and application security
- Experience with cloud computing and digital transformation on all atleast two portals - GCP, Azure, AWS \& OKTA would be a bonus
- Deep technical knowledge of the leading SaaS applications
- A passion for automation and workflow development
- Advanced networking knowledge
- A keen sense for finding missing opportunities to elevate the team to new standards
- Ability to take initiative and be proactive
- Ability to work independently and be resourceful
- Complex problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to condense complex information into simple language for the appropriate audience
