Overview:

Sales Leadership: Engage with engineering firms, contractors, OEMs, end users, and distributors to secure new business and expand existing relationships.
Strategic Planning: Develop sales strategies for target markets, aligned with company goals.
Customer Engagement: Conduct sales calls, product demonstrations, training, and presentations.
Market Insights: Assess customer needs and market trends to create effective sales campaigns.
Tracking \& Reporting: Use Salesforce.com to manage sales activities and project progress.
Trade Events: Represent Hayward at trade shows and industry events to promote our brand.
Team Collaboration: Work with Customer Care, Technical Service, and other teams to ensure high-quality service.
Account Management: Support Customer Service in maintaining key account information.
Travel: Up to 50% travel within Canada and occasional U.S. trips.
Education: Bachelor's degree, ideally in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.
Experience: 7+ years in technical or industry sales, with knowledge of flow control products.
Skills: Strong communication, technical aptitude, and presentation abilities.
Market Knowledge: Experience in water treatment, mining, aquatics, or chemical processing is preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce), Excel, and PowerPoint.
Driver's License: Must hold a valid license for travel.
