Job DescriptionAbout the Job:Reporting to the Director of Application Development, the Senior Manager of Application Development will lead a growing team of results-driven Tech Leads and Software Developers to design, build, and maintain Supply Chain and fulfillment-related applications and its dependent services that meet the needs of our business and customers. They will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, process, operations, and customer service, to ensure the services are scalable, reliable, and adaptable to our rapidly advancing business environment.
The ideal candidate can see the big picture from both a technical and business perspective, has the leadership skills to motivate the team, and has the foresight to help strategize and drive the team in delivering corporate objectives. You Will Do:Lead application development teams from initial inception of ideas to delivery, including hiring, coaching, and performance management of Tech Leads and Software Developers.
Provide technical leadership and expertise in the design, architecture, and implementation of the global supply chain services, including inventory management and fulfillment center operations
Collaborate with stakeholders to define roadmaps, translate needs into technical requirements, drive vendor selection, and ensure effective communication across teams.Implement and enforce quality assurance processes, including automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and compliance standards, to maintain system performance, reliability, and security.Partner with Product and Process team to drive vendor selection, engagement and management
Oversee the entire development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and supportQualificationsA minimum of 7 years experience managing teams to deliver complex applications, including 3 years relevant experience with Agile software development methodologiesA minimum of 5 years experience with software development best practices, including coding standards and code reviews
Experience with AWS,Knowledge of a broad range of modern programming languages including PHP, Node.js, Java, ReactJS/React-Native, Objective-C and Swift is an assetA minimum of 5 years experience working with order processing, inventory management, and fulfillment systems
Experience working in 3rd party OMS, IMS and WMS softwares
