Reference# Responsibilities:

Lead and manage crews on-site, ensuring alignment with the General Superintendent and Project Manager.
Coordinate work flow with crews, contractors and subcontractors.
Ensure that site operations are conducted in accordance with the standards set out by the client, their customers and the overall project objectives
Work directly in a supervising role with subcontractors, maintaining a positive working relationship and work that is done to the standards required by our client.
Collaborate on a regular basis with the Project Manager to identify conflicts and challenge and bring to resolution.
Lead site meetings and and all employee orientation and safety training onsite.
Review all project drawings and specifications to gain an understanding of the project, its scope, schedule and possible concerns.
5-10 years of construction experience with a focus in either heavy civil or geotechnical construction.
Experience with design build construction.
College Diploma or University Degree in Civil Engineering
Eligible to gain OCETT or PEO certification
Strong planning and problem solving skills are a must
Excellent written and oral communication skills are required
Strong leadership skills with the ability to adapt quickly are an asset
Mechanical aptitude is an asset
Must have access to a vehicle, and possess a valid G driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to travel to work on sites in the GTA and across Ontario (ability to stay in site city overnight is required
