We are looking for a qualified and experienced SAP EDI Business Analyst for our client. The role holder will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP EDI solutions to optimize business processes and promote electronic communication between our systems and those of our business partners.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze business needs and develop appropriate SAP EDI solutions.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to understand processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Design, test, and implement effective SAP EDI solutions, with specific expertise in EDI mapping development, comparison, and testing.
- Provide technical support to end-users and resolve technical issues.
- Document EDI procedures, workflows, and configurations within SAP.
- Maintain strong relationships with business partners and suppliers to ensure smooth communication.
- Ensure adherence to company data and security policies.
- Contribute to ongoing improvement and modernization projects for EDI processes.
- Regularly report on the performance of SAP EDI solutions.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, project management, or related field.
- 3-5 years of EDI experience, specifically in a SAP environment, with a focus on IDOC and X12.
- Strong knowledge of SAP.
- Substantial experience in SAP EDI, particularly in EDI mapping development, comparison, and testing.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
- Ability to work effectively in teams and collaborate across various departments.
- Knowledge of industry EDI practices and standards.
- Project management and planning skills.
- Experience in Business Process Management (BPM) is an asset.
